Thanks for the comments ann and anonymous. As far as my next show, I will post it on my blog here. I am currently working on a series. I will post pics as they become available.
Teresa is a Canadian sculptor living and working in Vancouver, Canada. She has been sculpting periodically for over 18 years, but more recently has begun focusing on specific themes. She is interested in scale and the perception shift a change in size has on the viewer. In a culture where bigger is often considered better, shrinking scale to the miniscule creates a dichotomy suggesting that as a culture at large we have missed out on the intimacy that the small and often overlooked details offer. There is something intimate and private about the small, reminiscent of long forgotten memories or the remnants of a dream in the morning.
These themes emerge out of managing a busy household alongside work as a paediatric nurse at the Vancouver Children's Hospital. Teresa's curiosity with both the outdoors and people help instigate the process of idea making and she finds there is no shortage of detail anywhere.

I am amazed. When is your next show?
This couch looks comfy enough to curl up in....only it's a little small. I love the mood. Now, where did I put my book!
